We are currently seeking a young, confident, proactive and hardworking individual who is able to drive a task from commencement to completion.
The incumbent should be a good all-rounder, with good interpersonal skills and have the ability to successfully connect with employees, managers and clients while multitasking and handling all aspects of front desk management.
Job description
- Answering and screening all incoming calls
- Arranging appointments and meetings
- Design, manage and maintain an efficient office filing system
- Establish standards and operating procedures to improve office efficiency
- Ordering stationery and office supplies whilst being cognizant of budgets and cash flow
- Performing PA duties to CEO
- Liaising with staff, suppliers and if necessary, clients
- Ensuring the necessary requirements are met for new employees (IT, equipment, stationery, workstations)
- The first point of call for all office IT matters
- Travel bookings, including flights, accommodation, visas, etc.
- Managing complaints, queries and correspondence with escalation to senior management when necessary
The ideal candidate has:
- Grade 12 or equivalent SAQA approved qualification
- Office management qualification
- Three years of similar experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised and reliable
- Initiate or implement new strategies and systems
- Teamwork and cooperation
- Flexibility
- Experience using Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Drivers licence
