INTRODUCTION

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Diploma or similar relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics / Road Transport Management will be advantageous.
- 5 Years Min Fuel and Chemical Road Transport experience
- Product Knowledge –Fuel
- Fuel Distribution – Primary and Secondary Transport
- Must be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Word and Excel packages.
- Working knowledge of vehicle tracking systems (Execution Manager experience advantageous)
- Working knowledge of Drive-cam and Transport Management Systems
- Working knowledge of I-fox
- SHEQ Experience
- Driver and Fleet Management Skills
- RTMS experience
- Technical Knowledge
- Relevant Road Traffic Legislation and knowledge of customer driving hour rules.
- Interpersonal Skills with special emphasis on telecommunications skill.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic Financial Skills – Tracking Revenue, CPK, Etc.
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Analytical, pro-active, organised, innovative
- 24/7 – 365 days standby
Job Specification
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and reporting on vehicle tracking measuring vehicle progress to plan.
- Intervening in delays and formulating action plans to overcome challenges.
- Maximise vehicle utilisation and Planning
- Influencing behaviour of drivers and depot supervision.
- Implement and manage vehicle journey management plans for operations,
- Create journey plans
- Supply feedback on current and created trips to various players.
- Submit trip reports to contract management as required.
