Person Institute of Higher Education 3D Multimedia Lecturer Vacancy
The Pretoria Campus of the Pearson Institute of Higher Education is seeking to appoint a 3D/Multimedia Lecturer within the Graphic Design Department.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lecturing and 1-on-1 student support of various Multimedia and 3D Animation related modules across the PIHE Graphic Design programme run at campus.
- Marking of assessments
- Preparation of notes and additional study materials
- To assist in the administration of Campus affairs and activities as required by the Academic Coordinator
BASIC REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
Minimum qualification:
- Preferably Honours in Art / Graphic Design / Multimedia
- Preferably 3 years lecturing experience
- Experience in a higher education environment will be beneficial
- Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
Required competencies:
- All applicants must have an advanced knowledge in the latest MAYA and Adobe After Effects.
- Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment
- Excellent communication skills- assertive and approachable to students
- Professional knowledge in their area of expertise
- Quality Orientation including attention to detail and deadline-awareness
- Innovative; ability to solve problems alone and within the team
