TUT 2024 Project Coordinator Job Opportuinity

Tshwane University of Technology has a 3 year fixed-term contract position of a Project Coordinator (Junior Lecturer) at the Pretoria West Campus.
Key Performance Areas:

  • Oversee all theoretical and practical teaching and learning activities of the ISFAP/Thuthuka grant awardees
    Participate in managing the budgeting of ISFAP/Thuthuka project funding
    Identify and manage educational and psychosocial barriers and enablers for ISFAP/Thuthuka grant awardees and refer to the relevant directorate for support of the students
    Participate in teaching and learning and/or tutoring in nursing theoretical and practical subjects if/when required.
    Participate in the development of study material
    Monitor academic and practical objectives and intervene where required
    Monitor and evaluate achievement of project objectives
    Compile reports for the ISFAP/Thuthuka project
    Participate in relevant committees and meetings regarding student academic matters
    Liaise with industry and other institutions
    Participate in School research activities related to the ISFAP/Thuthuka activities.
    Participate in School Community engagement activities.

Minimum requirements:
Academic Qualifications:Junior Lecturer Relevant NQF 7 qualification in Nursing
Experience:2 years’ clinical nursing experience.
Experience in facilitating teaching and learning in a higher education institution.
Registration with professional body (if applicable): Registration as professional nurse and midwife with the SANC
Registration as a nurse educator and nurse administrator with the SANC
Other:
A valid driver’s licence for a manual vehicle.
Competence in the use of Microsoft Office programme
Knowledge of TUT policies and systems related to teaching and learning.
