Tshwane University of Technology has a 5 year fixed-term contract position of a Lecturer – Clinical Training Coordinator at the Pretoria West Campus.
Key Performance Areas/Core Functions
- Coordination of clinical nursing training
- Perform clinical nursing accompaniment
- Manage the nursing skills laboratory
- Liaise with industry and other institutions
- Participate in curriculum development and revision
- Participate in school research activities
- Participate in school community engagement activities
Minimum requirements:
Academic qualification : Relevant Master’s degree in Nursing
Experience:
4 years clinical nursing experience
Clinical preceptorship experience
Management experience
Registration with professional body
Registration at the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional nurse and midwife
Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Nurse Educator
Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Nurse Manager
Registration with the SANC as a Community and psychiatric nurse (an advantage)
