SAPS Education Trust
The South African Police Service wishes to introduce the South African Police Service Education Trust (SAPSET). The SAPSET was established by the SAPS to support the educational needs of children of police members who die in the line of duty and on duty. The education of the beneficiaries of our members is a fundamental social responsibility which the SAPS embrace. A significant number of police members still die in the line of duty and on duty each year. As the SAPS, we are pursuing a number of strategies and initiatives to deal with this challenge. Taking care of our member’s’ beneficiaries is one of our key intervention mechanisms.
