Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is the provide The Nedbank Centre of Access Governance with a systems specialist capacity, capable of engaging with relevant stakeholders in the access governance enterprise systems landscape, enabling and guiding effective and sustainable on-boarding and review decisions and practices.
The incumbent in this role will support the Centre for Access Governance (CAG) with in-depth technical knowledge of the product suite, best practice approach and well as the most viable and sustainable technical solutions/configurations.  He/she will also be responsible to stay up to date with changes in industry and best practice trends and update internal processes and guidelines accordingly.
Job Responsibilities

  • The translation of the CAG’s strategy into effective guidelines and influencing the product roadmap accordingly.
  • Drive investigations related to technical complexities of specific business requirements
  • Monitor the health of the technology stack and oversee regular upgrades and patching
  • Responsible for the in-depth knowledge of system features and capabilities to guide and support the business/systems analysis, role design/configuration and campaign configuration and execution.
  • Review and influence business requirements to ensure best-practice implementation.
  • Enable risk-based reviews and ensure that business controls and segregation of duties are enforced and maintained through the utilization of standard features.
  • In-depth knowledge of all integrations and on-boarded systems.
  • Constant guidance on and improvements to reporting and configuration to improve the maturity of Access Governance across the enterprise.
  • Oversee and manage all product upgrades and manage the system (Sailpoint) technical roadmap
  • Engage and manage technical enhancements/deliverables from ADM Innovation and Support teams on roadmap and projects.
  • Maintain system and landscape documentation

Essential Qualifications – NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Post degree qualification (Hons)
Essential Certifications

  • Accredited where formal expert certification on technology is available FPL or equivalent

Minimum Experience Level

Advantageous experience:

  • Understanding of business and systems landscapes within the greater Nedbank environment
  • 3 – 5 years in technical support or specialist role
  • Extensive knowledge of the Nedbank Application Landscape and  preferably the access related to each
  • 1 – 2 years work experience in a relevant information security related business environment
  • Knowledge of security concepts in the broader Access Management related environment
