Capabilities and Responsibilities:
The purpose of this Boddington Bauxite Mine based role is to perform Asset Protection Services which includes Security, Emergency and Medical Centre Support. In addition, you will:

• Provide primary response to emergency events
• Provide leadership and training to Emergency Response Teams
• Conduct security patrols/checks and assist in investigating security breaches and theft of company assets
• Provide first aid and medical treatment
• Conduct Inspection, operation and maintenance of fire and rescue equipment and systems
• Conduct fitness for work testing
• Assist in development and execution of the department business plans and procedures
• Provide technical and practical support where required to Areas and Functions
• Liaise with personnel on safety and health related matters to provide support and advice

Competencies:

• Certificate IV Healthcare (Degree in Nursing or Paramedical Science is desirable)
• Certificate III PUA Emergency Response or RII Mines Rescue with experience in Fire Fighting, Confined Space Rescue, HAZMAT Response, Vertical Rescue, Road Crash Rescue, Lead Emergency Teams and Drive under Operational Conditions (desirable, but must be willing to learn)
• Certificate IV Training and Assessing (desirable)
• Certificate II Security (desirable)
• Strong work experience in Mining or Mineral Processing industry (desirable)
• Experience within the Medical or Emergency Services Agencies and a trade qualification will be highly regarded
