UNISA Entry Exams For MBA And MBL 2024 Now Compulsory
SBL management has decided that students applying for the MBA and MBL programmes for 2024 must pass the NMAT (by GMAC™) entry exam as one of the admission requirements for the two programmes.
The NMAT is an exciting newly developed exam that focusses specifically on the African continent. The test offers the potential student an opportunity to measure his or her preparedness for the SBL’s master’s programmes. The exam will provide SBL with an additional tool to select students for these two highly sought after programmes. It also provides the student with a foundation to build on and eventually succeed in attaining these degrees.
Potential students can, from 16 August 2024, visit the NMAT website at nmat.org.in/Africa to register for the exam. Registration closes on 12 October 2024 and will cost R1000. Testing will take place between 15 September and 16 October 2024 in five test centres across the country. International students must contact GMAC™ directly to make arrangements to take their exam.

Should potential students miss the opportunity to write the test they can contact the SBL Academic Director, Prof Mari Jansen van Rensburg at jvrenm@unisa.ac.za, to access alternative selection options.
An important feature of the NMAT is that it offers the opportunity for students to practice before writing the final exam. Students are encouraged to practice at least 90 hours beforehand to prepare for the final exam.
The NMAT exam is a computer based, multiple choice test with three sections – Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning
