Essential Responsibilities (Specific day-to-day responsibilities):

  • Help Support the Market Development Team (MDL’s) team across the Enterprise – supporting Regional Growth & Retention priorities.
  • Centrally manage and support in-depth reporting requirements across the MDL team – supporting the team through detailed data analysis, pivot table reporting, trend reviews across campaigns with an emphasis across customer experience data from Salesforce, Tableau and Financial/Ops supporting data tools. Regular reports and statistical analysis generated for the MDL and Content teams to better manage focused strategies in 2024
  • Support detailed analysis of business performance, market sizing and opportunity prioritisation.
  • Help drive specific market segment analysis based on detailed market and opportunity sizing supported and driven by MDL’s. Focusing this analysis on key regions, associated value propositions, and execution planning to ensure opportunities facilitate growth and retention
  • Support the MDL team with 2024 business planning, business cases and focused campaigns to support the sales growth and retention targets.
  • Collate and help MDL’s prioritise detailed client requirements based on constant client interaction and CE’s/DE’s the product. This is to be used to validate Regional strategy & value propositions with customers and document feedback to defining growth & retention
  • Support MDL’s to manage industry associations and strategic relationships across the SSA region to achieve business goals represent the business
  • Help MDL’s centrally manage and collate key customer contacts, including key Heads of desks, key influencers & C level executives to help manage events and thought leadership sharing throughout 2024
  • Provide ‘expert knowledge’ based input to the definition of the “customer learning experience” for delivery to a frontline specialist and support teams.
  • Provide expert knowledge based input for internal learning programs e.g. New Starter Induction or on-going learning programs (e.g. Monthly updates, Learning calls & Boot-camps)
  • Centrally support and collate all regionally applicable market intelligence with a focus on collating and managing competitor intelligence priorities to support the MDL team in 2024

Qualifications, Required Skills, and Experience:

  • Be able to demonstrate Financial Market knowledge
  • Strong analytical and statistical reporting skills including use of advanced excel, VBA and the use of other programing languages such as Python would be a plus
  • Strong organisational, communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent written & spoken English is compulsory.
  • Demonstrate a blend of strategic and operational skills
  • Ability to work in a complex matrix organisation
  • Degree required
