Specification

The successful candidate will be provided with relevant workplace skills and experience in order to prepare for the job market. The development and training areas will include, but not limited to the below;

●Provide general administrative and secretarial support services to the Business Development & Support Unit in general, including but not limited to: ●Respond to investor enquiries; ●Update enquiry generated pipeline; ●Update generated leads pipeline; ●Arrange Unit’s internal meetings fortnightly; ●Taking minutes during scheduled meetings and compile reports; ●Coordinate diaries, travel arrangements arrange Boardroom bookings for potential investor meetings Receive and respond to enquiries emanating from telephone calls, referrals, website, walk-ins, etcetera, ●Follow up on enquiries, screen and when possible convert into lead together with responsible Manager for support. ●Convert leads into investment projects ●Participate at the investment promotion events, exhibitions, conference and Inward Missions. ●Assist with the preparation of promotional material before any event takes place. Develop an investor project file; ●Familiarise with Thedti finance support programmes and incentives schemes. ●Assist with the linking of investor/s to DFIs. ●Arrange meetings between Investor/s and Financiers ●Continuous project follow-up toward the commencement of building plans by architects. ●Set up meeting in response to Environmental Review Committee meetings; ●Arrange Investor site visits. Act as single entry contact point for investment enquiries for the Unit. ●Record all new enquiries and follow up on dormant enquiries and update reasons for further action. ●Assist in hosting of incoming business delegations (draft invitation letters, develop programmes, co-ordinate logistics, arrange on-site visits). ●Arrange Boardrooms for upcoming meetings and workshops;

Requirements

National Diploma in Marketing, Business Management, Degree in Business Management, Economics, Marketing, Development studies. (Advantageous). Unemployed, no relevant workplace experience needed. Must be between ages of 20 and 35. Must not have done any internship before.
