An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IRESS Talent Acquisition Intern to join our busy Talent Acquisition Team within a growing global brand. The role is based in our South African office, but will also support the wider global team with the end to end management of all recruitment needs of the business across a range of positions. You will be involved in everything from direct sourcing and candidate attraction through to offer management and process improvement, this is a varied and diverse role.

What you will be doing
- Assist in providing effective, timely and up to date recruitment support that meets the needs of the business and attracts the best talent pipeline across a range of roles from graduates right through to senior hires
- Generate targeted advertising campaigns using the most relevant online channels available, as well as media campaigns and recruitment events where appropriate
- Manage administrative tasks such as interview scheduling, reference and background screening checks
- Support the ongoing development of our Emerging Talent strategy focusing on Graduate Campaigns and Internships
- Work alongside the wider Talent Acquisition team to identify process improvements and to assist in their implementation
- Monitor, track and report back on recruitment activity within agreed timescales
- Maintenance and management of candidate management system (Workday)
- Contribute to the wider global business teams initiatives and work collaboratively with your team across multiple regions
What you will need
- You’ll need some experience in a recruitment or resourcing focused role, with at least some of your knowledge gained either in agency or from an in-house.
- You’ll have had some exposure to direct sourcing using a range of talent acquisition tools.
- You’ll be able to show a solid understanding of best practices in recruitment, including a knowledge of basic employment legislation related to recruitment, diversity & inclusion best practices and an innovative and flexible approach to sourcing strategies
- You are passionate about ensuring a great candidate experience.

- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management/related qualification.
