Job description
Fishgate Advertising (through-the-line agency) requires the services of an energetic account executive to help manage accounts across the agency. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two to three years’ experience within an agency environment and be familiar with working on Chase software.
The successful candidate will:
- Manage and service allocated agency clients
- Do status reporting applicable to various clients on a daily/weekly/monthly basis as well as to agency management when requested
- Have a full understanding of managing timelines and the implications thereof
- Understand how to set client service objectives through scheduling, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions
- Achieve client service operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans, preparing and completing action plans, implementing production, resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, determining system improvements and implementing processes across the board where applicable
- Implement service objectives by determining requirements of clients, defining, assembling, and scheduling required service resources, confirming costs and defining service measurements
- Assist in organising and sourcing freelance entities when applicable
Requirements
- Minimum of two to three years’ advertising agency experience in a client service or account executive role
- Degree or national diploma majoring in communication, marketing, advertising or other related business science area applicable
- Valid drivers licence
Advantageous
- Existing agency/client relationships advantageous
- Print/media experience advantageous
- Must be bilingual (English/Afrikaans)
