Job description

Leading agency seeks activations account director for its activations department.
Previous activations experience is imperative.
Strong leadership and entrepreneurial spirit is a must.
This is an exciting opportunity for a variety of proven brands and below the line marketing professional to lead a host of global brand activation plans for this iconic agency.
With a demonstrable track record of achievement within another fast moving consumer driven or retail marketplace, you will shape a best practice approach to creating and then implementing a rolling programme of NPD initiatives and promotional campaigns.
With a key requirement being to drive experiential campaigns and developing innovative visual merchandising solutions you will ensure the brands consistency is maintained and ensure that all materials are produced and used according to brand guidelines.
Similarly you will work hand in hand with the innovation and technical teams to deliver a consistent pipeline of ideas and feasible retail marketing initiatives. In what is a relatively young and highly entrepreneurial driven business this is a highly visible role where you will take responsibility for developing a thorough understanding of competitor activity and will play a key influencing role with the senior management team.
Similarly, in what is a creative, fashion orientated and very consumer focused category you will need to possess significant empathy with the brand and you yourself will ideally posses an element of creative flair. An influential communicator with a strong commercial orientation this is a key role in the ongoing growth and development of what is rapidly becoming a phenomenal success story.
You will be expected to roll out and initiate and be involved in the development, coordination and activation of key brand initiatives.
This is a fantastic role for a motivated individual who wants to excel within the activation marketing team, managing and delivering a winning programme of initiatives and striving for excellence with the key customers for the company’s specialist exclusive brand, Pro Plan.
You will be responsible for the execution of key initiatives which have been highlighted as focus activities for execution within the clients’ customer base. You will also work with the specialist team to understand customer plans and support them to deliver and achieve these initiatives within the scope and budget of the activity. The role also requires defining clear KPI’s for each activity, and ensuring the plans are consistently implemented across the channel with excellence.
Analysis experience is very important to the success of this trade activation marketing manager role. You will need to investigate, develop and provide return on investment options for in store activation customer opportunities, specifically focused on securing and maintaining space and presence at point of purchase.
Applicants should have substantial experience of managing their own projects from concept to implementation, excellent organisational and coordination ability along with strong communication and analytical skills, ideally within a commercial environment.
It is essential that applicants are able to demonstrate clear achievement against results in their current roles and what they will bring to this role. It is also essential that applicants are comfortable challenging the norm and developing creative, commercial activities.
