Job Purpose | The Western Cape Government is seeking to employ a qualified individual to assist with the maintenance of the Provincial Immovable Asset Register and the vesting and related ownership matters and to ensure that work is being done in compliance with relevant regulations and legislation. This position is based in Cape Town. |
Minimum Requirements | • A Senior Certificate/Grade 12. |
Recommendation | • 1 year relevant experience; • Administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as MS Office, managing files and records, taking of minutes. |
Key Performance Areas | • Collect and capture all data on the Provincial Immovable Asset Register (IAR); • Assist with vesting and IAR related ownership matters; • Undertake filing and keep record of property related information; • Take minutes of meetings; • Drafting of letters in respect of ownership related matters. |
Competencies | • Verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape; • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; • Problem solving; • Reliable and self-motivated; • Good planning and organisational skills; • Ability to work in a team. |
Remuneration | R 152 862 per annum (Salary level 5) Note on remuneration: Cost-to-employer (CTE) remuneration packages for certain occupation-specific dispensations (OSD), the middle-management service (MMS) and contract positions are inclusive of all costs related to service benefits or obligations including basic salary, 13th cheque, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc. MMS remuneration packages are flexible and may be individually structured as prescribed. Where remuneration is not indicated as CTE, employees’ service benefits or obligations are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements. |
