About
The Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) is a multidisciplinary, independent research institute based across two sites in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
Our goal is to become a source of fundamental discoveries into the susceptibility, transmission and cure of HIV, TB and related diseases. We also seek ways to improve diagnosis, prevention and treatment.
Specification
1. Assist in coordination of research activities including research administration and regulatory compliance
2. Assistance with general implementation of research studies
3. Logistics at site
Minimum Qualification
1.Postgraduate Degree in Health or Social Science disciplines
2.Must possess a valid South African Code B Driver’s License and own vehicle
Minimum Experience
1.Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
2.This is an entry level position with limited experience.
Skills Required
1.Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
2.Accuracy and precision;
3.Must be able to work under pressure;
Knowledge and Abilities Required
1.Good knowledge of HIV/AIDS and TB
2.Knowledge of the scientific research process
3.Ability to capture and organise data electronically
4.Ability to write reports
