Senior Specialist Solution Integration

An exciting vacancy exists at Corporate Office for an experienced Senior Specialist Solution Integration professional within the Technical Services Solutions division.
 
 
Key Performance Outputs
 
The successful candidate, reporting to the Group Manager Advisory Services and will be responsible for the following:
  • Review and analyse technical research to support opportunity development;
  • Develop advisory project costing models for proposal development and other advisory standards.
  • Assess client requirements based on either RFP/client engagement, conduct peer reviews, and facilitate engagements to identify other advisory opportunities
  • Identify technical or operational specialist; both internal and external to provide point solutions and review resource management challenges and opportunities;
  • Integrate inputs from specialists and partnerships into comprehensive solution and leverage competencies and technologies in SA and abroad
  • Develop a detail understanding of all the specialist disciplines and service offerings and keep abreast with new services, R&D and other developments
  • Provide guidance to technical specialist and to other departments and contribute to overcoming operational and technical challenges on projects;
  • Conduct performance monitoring and quality monitoring of service delivery whilst ensuring a focus of both internal and external clients
  • Establish, monitor and manage healthy, diverse, workable internal and external relationships, including the interface with strategic partners and external providers to ensure departmental/functional needs are met, organisational goals achieved and implement remedial actions where required.

 
Technical Skills and Experience

 

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:

  • Relevant Bachelors’ Degree in Built Environment disciplines / Engineering;
  • 6 years’ operational experience in Coordination and implementation of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects project management and exposure to procurement practices.
  • 4 years’ experience in a people management role and stakeholder management
  • Membership with Engineering Consultant Association of South Africa is advantageous

The ideal candidate must be diplomatic, and aware of big-picture considerations, while paying attention to details. The candidate must have a good understanding of airport business and processes and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.  Furthermore, the successful incumbent must also be trustworthy, a good communicator who remains informed about trends and changes in the market place. Lastly, this candidate must be flexible, resourceful and possess the ability to work alone or within a team. The following qualities are also desirable: a keen interest in technology, problem-solving skills, professional reporting and the ability to manage time well.
