Key Performance Outputs:

The successful candidate, reporting to the Manager Operational Planning will be responsible for the following:

  • Supporting the translation of airports operational strategy into operational plans.
  • Supporting implementation of new operational initiatives.
  • Contributing to the development / implementation of operations and performance standards for the airport.
  • Ensuring all operational business processes are documented by ensuring business unit adheres to company defined methodologies.
  • Oversee document management in terms of quality and relevance to business goals.
  • Providing input to the development of an airport master plan and network strategic planning.
  • Conducting analysis of current and future capacity and demands.
  • Developing contingency and risk management plans for planned and unplanned events.
  • Driving the collation of accurate operational data and statistics required for airline billing process
  • Providing technical / professional support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives.

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • The successful candidate must have a valid 4 years Bachelor€™s degree in Indistrial Engineering/Civil Engineering/Business Studies in a built environment/ Business Commerce.
  • A code 8 driver€™s licence with driving experience is essential.
  • Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • The candidate must possess 6 to 8 years operational planning experience
  • The candidate must have no criminal record, and will need to adhere to security clearance procedures.
