An exciting career opportunity exists for a dedicated individual to lead a team within the Client and Passenger Services Division.

Key Performance Outputs

The successful candidate, reporting to the Assistant Manager Passenger Services and Quality will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide relevant and specialised support to relevant stakeholders to ensure achievement of objectives.
  • Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals. Implement remedial actions where required.
  • Resolve escalated queries and provide suggestions/solutions for improvement of Customer Service Levels.
  • Escalate unresolved queries when required.
  • Monitor and ensure adequate systems resource levels.
  • Monitor the utilisation of the systems to ensure efficiency.
  • Perform daily analysis of system data and escalate findings to relevant parties.
  • Identify, rectify and escalate any system related errors.
  • Assist with the implementation of ad hoc projects within set requirements and provide continuous feedback.
  • Monitor execution of SOP’s and address non-compliance.
  • Provide input into workforce planning and implement approved labour plans to ensure team is suitably staffed to meet sub-functional objectives.
  • Plan, schedule, supervise and coach subordinate activities within processes or services to achieve efficiency and quality goals.
  • Compile and submit Operational reports as required
Technical Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:

  • The successful candidate must have a Matric and a Higher Certificate in Business Commerce
  • 1-3 years’ experience within customer services is essential
  • Supervisory experience within customer services or airport operations is highly recommended
  • Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

The successful incumbent will be able to communicate clearly and professionally in multiple formats, tactfully and in a non-confrontational and polite manner. Providing clear objectives and instructions to others whilst consistently achieving set targets. Setting definite milestones and actions for achieving goals and solving challenging problems is essential.  It is vital that the incumbent is trustworthy and able to manage conflict.
