The National Research Foundation (NRF) and the Department of Science and Technology (DST) are pleased to announce the provisional awards for the 2024 Thuthuka Call. The Thuthuka awards for new applicants have been made according to the strategic objectives of the Thuthuka Funding Instrument, the Ministerial Directives on equity targets and the available budget. Funding support for continuing Thuthuka grant-holders is based on the evaluation of the grant-holders annual progress, the recommendation for continued support by his/her Head of Department (HoD) and the available budget.
