Job description
An international exporter of perishable/FMCG products has a position available for an area manager to be responsible for service levels, liaising with clients on shipments and with production managers and suppliers, procurement of fruit, maintaining of quality and handling of key accounts.
Requirements
- Grade 12/matric
- Relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture or business studies
- Minimum of three years’ experience in the export industry (perishable/FMCG products)
- Excellent skills and knowledge of quality management and packaging of fruit
- Computer literate – GlobalGap and Haccp
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
- Willing to travel
- Account management skills
