ARTS ADMIN INTERNSHIP 2024 AT THE NATIONAL SCHOOL OF THE ARTS

Opportunity Description
The National School of the Arts offers four Cathsseta-funded arts admin internship positions to graduates interested in a career in arts management.
Administration including event planning, publicity, marketing, database management, proposal writing, social media engagement and audience development related to the specialist art departments and the flagship NSA Festival of the Arts 2024, will be within the scope of the internship experience at The National School of the Arts. The four successful candidates will be contracted to the Marketing and Development Unit of the NSA.
The selection panel will identify an intern for each of the specialist departments: art, dance, drama and music. Applicants should be based in Johannesburg.
EDUCATION LEVELS REQUIRED:
A relevant degree or diploma in an Arts-related field including management, admin, performance and development. Candidates should indicate their creative preference in the application and indicate their versatility and ability to work across the disciplines of art, dance, music or drama.

Preference will be given to designated groups including people with disabilities.
