About

The AIMO (Aeronautical Information Management Officer) bursary programme is offered to applicants who are interested in studying towards a qualification in Aeronautical Information Management. Hence, it is open to applications from learners who will be studying at the Bonaero Park-based, ATNS Aviation Training Academy. This is a one year programme. There are different intakes for this programme throughout the year. Please take note of when you can apply for each intake below:
01 March to 31 April (for July program)
01 December to 31 January (for April program)
01 August to 30 September (for January program)

How to apply

You will first need to register your CV on their website and then click on job alerts. Then you will be notified when applications are open. It is important to submit your CV, grade 12 results and a copy of your South African ID.

Service contract

ATNS may offer you a 18 month fixed term contract after the course is complete. You will be given a salary when working for them.

Qualifying criteria

Applicants need to be 18 years or older, have a grade 12 certificate (with Maths and English), be a South African citizen and be medically fit.

You will be asked to complete an assessment and then come for an interview. If you show that you are capable and passionate about this field of study, you are a strong applicant.

Allowance details

The cost of tuition for the ATS core content course will be covered in full. Accommodation will be covered – this will be on a sharing basis and arranged by ATNS. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be covered daily. You will receive a monthly allowance and provision for ten days of non-academic activities (determined by the study programme co-ordinators)
