Aveng Manufacturing seeks Finance and Human Resources Interns for a 12 month internship programme based in Gauteng.
Requirements

  • Applicants must hold a National Diploma or Degree in the above-mentioned fields of study
  • No Experience is required

Duties & Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Provide Human Resources Administration and Support function to line management and employees
  • Assist with maintenance of accurate and logical record keeping and filing
  • Assist with the co-ordination and facilitation of recruitment and selection processes
  • Assist with training and development co-ordination and administration
  • Provide an administrative function to the team including diary management, report writing, presentation development, minute taking and coordination of allocated projects
  • Works closely with business leaders to identify issues and opportunities and the people implications
  • Assist in the implementation of change initiatives

 

Finance

  • Preparation of standard monthly journals
  • Assist with timeous processing and monitoring of factory floor information, production orders, job cards, scrap recording, downtime, wastage, stockrevaluations
  • Exposure to key elements of stock takes and recording thereof
  • Prepare monthly accurate and reliable reports, scrap, reworks, and inventory
  • Exposure to production costs, variances, STD bills of materials and routings, labour costs and variances, material costs and variances, inventory and analysis of gross margin to ensure accuracy
  • Assist in preparation of budgets, analysis of actual versus budget and seeking explanations from budget holders for explanations
  • Be deployed and be allocated on-going tasks by all within the Finance department
