Available Field of Study
BBD bursary is inspired by 500 employess of software developers, system architects, digital strategists, application designers, and tech-trend enthusiasts working in BBD and we are reaching for more! Based on the company’s business and activities, BBD bursaries will be awarded for there field of studies: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering or any other IT-related fields.
Criterion For Bursary
BBD’s bursaries are provided to enhance student’s study in IT-related degree and expect to dig students’ software skills. BBD’s bursaries will include tuition fees, prescribed books fees, accommodation and meals fees and monthly allowance.

• Applicants must be South African citizens
• Applicants have obtained minimum of 65% for the current academic year
• Applicants registered or intend to register at a South African University in 2024, in the fields mentioned above
• Passionate about software development and Information Technology (IT)

Students interested to apply for the bursaries shall notice the closing date of submission is on December 15, 2024. The required documents for BBD’s bursaries are a copy of student’s CV, a copy of certified South African ID Book and latest academic results.
