Job description

We are currently looking for a senior full stack developer. Our client a super innovative tech company wants an experienced and self-motivated developer. You will maintain and improve existing products, inspire more junior staff as well as lead the development of new projects.
The role requires an ability to engineer/architect complete solutions and guide junior front-end developers. Not to mention you’ll be coding much of the software yourself.

Requirements

• Strong background in Linux (command line development)
• Familiar with Ubuntu and Debian servers
• Comfortable working with both back-end (databases and service-side code) and front-end
• Experience with MongoDB, Express, AngularJS and NodeJS
• HTML, CSS and SCSS
• Strong experience with Javascript, jQuery, NoSQL, Firebase
• Experience building mobile apps
• Strong understanding of modern application architects, development methodologies and tools
• Solid understanding of networking (DNS, NAT, SSH, HTTP)
• Web server configuration
• Code management and development
• Experience with development tools (Gulp, Yeoman)
• Strong understanding of modern programming languages (C#, PHP, Python, Java, Ruby)
• Expertise in code debugging and browser compatibility testing

Advantageous

• If you have game development and C++ experience, this may well be advantageous

Personal Skills/Attributes

• Proven experience working with teams to design and develop apps
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to build strong relationships as you will be mentoring junior developers
• Analyse complex problems and move them to solutions
