Overview
We are looking to recruit a permanent Inventory Supervisor to work for Clicks Direct Medicines (CDM). The role will be based at Roodepoort, JHB and will report to the Branch Manager.
Purpose and Objectives
Purpose
- To deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care and the end-to-end management of Stock Processes such as buying, wastage and shrinkage within the business
Job Objectives
- To manage the scheduled substance and dispensary stock control to ensure that the correct workflow is followed by all employees in the inventory department
- To manage the inventory administration and management processes to optimise SLA’s with all internal and external customers
- To plan and control the Inventory finances in order to maximise the inventory profitability
- To ensure Inventory adherence to Good Pharmacy Practice, legislation and Standard Operating Procedures by team performance management
- To maintain a buying process to ensure sufficient stock is kept to meet the demand and company targets
Requirements
Job Knowledge:
- Essential: 2-3 years – Microsoft office Suite
- Essential: 1 year – Finance and budget processes and procedures
- Essential: 1 year – Customer service management process and procedures
- Essential: 1 year – Business Processes
- Essential: 1 year – Stock life cycle
- Essential: 1-2 years – Leadership skills
Job Experience:
- 2-3 years within Retail environment
- Essential: 1-2 years supervisory experience
- Essential: 1 year Customer care experience
- Essential: 1 Year stock management experience
- Essential: 1 Year Supply Chain experience
- Desirable: 1 Year Pharmacy experience
Education:
- Essential: Grade 12
- Essential: QPB Pharm Assistant
- Desirable: Supply Chain Management Diploma/Degree
- Essential: Registration Pharmacy Council
