The CSIR hereby invites applications from students wishing to register for honours studies for the 2024 academic year in the fields of science and engineering (including the built environment). The bursaries are targeted at students who are considering a career in research. This is a comprehensive bursary and it covers all the normal costs associated with university studies, such as:

Candidate Requirements:
Must be a South African citizen
Planned enrolment at a South African university in 2024
Minimum of 65% in pure mathematics and natural science for matriculants and an average of 65% for university students
