MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
• A relevant Doctorate level degree (i.e. D Tech / PhD / NQF 10 or equivalent)
MINIMUM & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• At least eight years’ research / teaching / lecturing experience in the relevant subject field, including experience in the management of research projects
• An NRF-rating of C2 or a comparable H-index will be required.
• Proven record of research outputs in line with CUT’s promotion requirements for Professor
• Proven record of external funding applications, awards and management.
• Lead/manage at least one research project
• Registration with relevant professional body, depending on the field of study
• Involvement as an editor/reviewer/external examiner
