Data Analyst Job Vacancy in Cape Town 2024/2025

 
A young, dynamic, leading online retailer in Cape Town is looking for a data analyst with an appropriate tertiary education (e.g. applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, etc.) and if your education does not include formal computer programming, then some form of programming experience is essential.
Duties:

• Building Qlikview models to provide the business with relevant information.
• Creating reports with focus areas for business improvement.
• Identifying important variables and focus areas in the business.
• Analysing data to answer strategic and operational questions posed by the business.
• Automating data extraction and report update processes.
• Provide information to various stakeholders.
• Data validation and integrity testing.
• Data cleansing and data modelling.
• Optimisation of data models.

Requirements:

• An appropriate tertiary education (e.g. applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, etc.).
• If your education does not include formal computer programming, then some form of programming experience is essential.
• Experience using Qlikview is advantageous.
• At least two years’ relevant post qualification experience.
• Able to work independently.
• Deadline driven.
• Analytical.
• Diligent.
