- Extensive experience in providing logistical support for internal and external meetings/workshops.

- Computer skills in MS Office software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
DUTIES :
The incumbent will be responsible to render the secretarial and office administrative support to the Deputy Director-General: Fisheries Management.
Maintain office systems, including screening of calls, preparing professionally typed documents, responding to correspondence as directed, managing the Deputy Director-General electronic and manual diary.
Record incoming and outgoing mail in the office of the Deputy Director-General.
Distribute correspondence among line managers, file and keep record of documents.
Manage travel documents and weekly planners for the Deputy Director-General.
Arrange internal and external meetings properly.
Prepare documents to attend meetings.
Liaise between internal and external stakeholders and office of the Deputy Director-General.
Provide inputs for the drafting and compiling budget for the office of the Deputy Director-General.
Responsible for the procurement for the office of the Deputy Director-General.
NOTE : In terms of the departmental employment equity target, priority will be given to Indian female and male, Coloured females and male, White males and Female, African Male and People with disabilities.
