Job description
We are looking for a digital account manager to effectively manage the relationship between our team and our clients.
The ideal candidate would be someone who is happy multitasking, is proactive, entrepreneurial, a problem-solver and wants to make an impact. They should not be afraid to get their hands dirty and grow out a team as the company grows.
The people we hire push the envelope by rethinking existing ideas and established conventions and don’t just do something for the sake of it. You will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the strategic planning and implementation across accounts
- Act as the client’s liaison with the company and balance the input of the various company departments, ensuring that client’s objectives are met
- Effectively lead the team and manage the client relationship
- Ensure team members are performing the highest quality of work
- Attend regular client meetings, with report back to the account director on client projects and campaigns
Responsibilities:
- Take briefs and present creative work/strategies that result in a client brief
- Compile status documents and run/participate in status meetings and creative reviews
- Compile CEs/quotes and manage budgets
- Understand client business, objectives and requirements
- Be able to think on your feet and partake in on-the-spot solutions, communicating ideas clearly
- Coordinate and execute activities and tasks required to meet all objectives with your team/studio
- Identify and recommend the best possible solutions in terms of implementation and or end product
- Have a keen eye for business development and be able to spot new opportunities
- Have an exceptional eye for detail
- Demonstrate a broad understanding of web technologies, drawing on agency technical expertise when required
Requirements
- Minimum three to five years’ experience as digital account manager with a proven track record
- Must have strong knowledge of all digital channels and technology
- Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- A strong financial understanding of the running of an account within an agency
- Must have experience in presenting and selling concepts to clients
