Our client is a rapidly expanding digital marketing company providing search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimisation (SEO), web analytics and conversion optimisation services. It is a web development and design agency specialised in Drupal. They are an international group with offices based in Cape Town, Zurich (Switzerland), Austin (USA).
The team in Cape Town is looking for a digital marketing consultant (SEM/SEO).
Job duties and responsibilities
- Provide support to our team in Switzerland with SEM (Google AdWords, Bing, Yandex)
- Set up, manage and optimise PPC campaigns for our client portfolio
- Manage search, display, remarketing and YouTube campaigns
- Perform keyword analysis
- Write ads reflecting the benefits of our clients’ services and products
- Create reports of the PPC campaign performance
- Support the search engine optimisation (SEO) unit with SEO audits and SEO monitorings
Candidate profile
- Master’s degree, bachelor’s degree, BCom or advanced studies in digital marketing or Google AdWords certifications fundamentals and search or display, more certifications will be an advantage
- Working experience with Google AdWords and advanced Google AdWords skills (managed at least 30 client accounts)
- Yandex, Direct and Bing experience would be a plus
- Experience with SEO audits and keyword analysis
- Very good MS Excel knowledge
- Structured and customer oriented working style
- Ability to work independently (no micro-management), complete tasks and take accountability
- Organisational and time management skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English, German or other languages will be an advantage
