Job description
Assist with various digital marketing tasks related to content creation, social media management, content loading and online advertising as well as other general duties as assigned by the team on an ad hoc basis. Additional training for certain tasks will be provided.
This is an excellent opportunity to get real-world experience in the well-paid and exciting digital marketing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm or equivalent
- Research/source content for clients’ social media plans
- Write copy for clients’ social media plans and possibly websites
- Post to social media and monitoring feedback
- Set up newsletters with GetResponse or MailChimp
- Create online listings for clients when required (HotFrog, Yellow Pages, etc.)
- Source stock images
- Pull data/stats from Google Analytics, Facebook and Twitter for reports
- Assist with Facebook Advertising when required
- Assist with Google AdWords when required
Requirements
Required skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google apps (Gmail, Drive, Docs)
- Understanding and proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram at minimum)
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Good command of English
- Writing skills with excellent grammar and spelling
- Ability to take full responsibility for their work and self-manage when necessary
- Meet deadlines consistently
- Self-starter, willing to take the initiative
Advantageous:
- Digital marketing qualification
- Experience with AdWords
- Experience with Facebook Advertising
- Experience with Hootsuite
- Basic Adobe Photoshop skills
- Experience with updating self-hosted WordPress sites
- Experience using GetResponse, MailChimp or other email marketing software
