An established digital marketing company (www.beautybulletin.com) in Cape Town is looking to hire a strong and dynamic project manager for a contract period of six months to join their team and assist with an increased workload.
The position would be responsible for (but in no way limited to):

  • Complete management and optimization of digital media advertising campaigns/projects as well as e-commerce campaigns/projects for both the company as well as the company’s partner division when required
  • Ensure campaign projects are monitored and amended to meet strategic requirements and targets of the client
  • Assisting with the management and operations of e-commerce Pop Up Shops
  • Provide company management and the clients with regular reports on campaign progress
  • Provide assistance and input on business development ideas
  • Ongoing communication regarding campaign updates to all company stakeholders and clients
  • Provide input on design, copy and layout for digital elements of campaigns including the performance of basic photo editing
  • Create detailed case studies and presentations at the end of each campaign
  • Provide detailed reports on project progress using digital statistical analyses and make recommendations
  • Effectively manage juniors and ensure performance management strategies with juniors are implemented
  • Guide juniors within their roles and set up junior skill development strategies
  • Advise company management on disciplinary issues within the team when necessary

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Diploma in digital media marketing or similar
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong leadership
  • Minimum of three years’ experience within a digital campaign management role
  • At least two years’ experience within an e-commerce role
  • Proven experience within team management
  • Knowledge of SEO and website key metrics as well as strong knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with online statistics and reporting
  • Knowledge of the use of Survey Monkey
  • Strong analytical focus and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
