Dis-Chem has exciting internship and integrated learning opportunities for graduates and TVET Learners respectively.

1. Sales & Marketing Interns (Gauteng, Cape Town, KZN))
Successful applicants will assist in the administration of special promotions (response adverts, new store openings) leading to timeous implementation at stores. Performing administrative work and providing support to the Sales and Marketing Departments
2. Office Admin Interns (Gauteng, Cape Town, KZN)
Candidates will be responsible for the accurate and timely administration in their specific business unit.
3. Health Focus Interns – Nationally
Successful applicants will be required to work in Dis-Chem stores specifically in the functional foods, nutrition, vitamins and sports supplements department
4. Technical Compliance Interns
To assist with managing the quality & safety of food & supplement products from suppliers to the stores & warehouse. Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, government regulations & industry best practices
5. Accounting / Bookkeeper TVET Learners
TVET Learners studying Accounting / Bookkeeping whom need to complete their 18 month work integrated learning. You will be based at the Head Office in Midrand, and will be responsible for ensuring the timely and correct reconciling of all creditors’ accounts from remittance advice to the suppliers’ statements and payments thereof
6. Human Resources TVET Learners
TVET Learners studying Human Resources whom need to complete their 18 month work integrated learning. You will be based at the Head Office in Midrand, and will be responsible for providing quality HR compliance assistance and administrative support to the HR Team and relevant stakeholders across all aspects of the HR Department.
7. Office Admin TVET Learners
TVET Learners studying Office Administration whom need to complete their 18 month work integrated learning. You will be based at the Head Office in Midrand, and will be responsible for the accurate and timely administration in the specific business unit.
Requirements

  • Qualification in Office Administration or Sales and/or Marketing or Food Technology / food science (Biotechnology) or Accounting / Bookkeeping or Human Resources
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Computer literate – MS Office
  • Sound admin skills
