PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To ensure the effective management and control of all financial aspects regarding the variable costs and sales of timber to all markets to ensure accurate payments, effective debt management, financial recording, compliance and to supply management with real time information and analysis.
REPORTING TO: GENERAL MANAGER – FINANCE
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the input and output of all modules in TCS including Actual, Orders, Budgets and Forecasts.
- Investigate and implement improvements with the goal of further automation.
- Comply with audit requirements regarding master data changes and rate changes processed in TCS.
- Ensure that all Contractors and Timber suppliers are paid according to contractual terms.
- Prepare and analyse both activity costs and sales variances to budget and forecast.
- Ensure the DHO information requirements are met.
- Prepare and submit weekly rolling forecasts and the variance analysis.
- Monitor loan balances, loan recoveries and write off provision with regards to Project Grow.
- Take full responsibility of the Diesel Rebate Claim, for the monthly claim & compliance with SARS.
- Ensure that the staff comply with legislative and company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- A PG Dip BA/MBA/CA or studying towards this will advantageous
- Minimum of 5 Years relevant experience
- Previous experience with TCS
