The Eastern Cape is often referred to as a world in one province. Located on the eastern most part of South Africa, an area of almost 170,000 square kilometres of diverse landscape is divided into six district municipalities and two metropolitan municipalities. The provinces seat of government is in Bhisho, Buffalo City Metro. The province has a very strong and distinct culture and heritage, a rich history from the vibrant and timeless Xhosa traditions.
This advertisement, is issued to all unemployed applicants younger than the ages of 35 /including young persons with disabilities in the Province, who possess a 3 year qualification Degree or Diploma from an accredited tertiary institutions.
The primary purpose of internship program in government is acquisition of skill, knowledge and experience in order to compete in the open labour market and Public Service.
Postion: Community Safety X3
Stipend: R5000 per annum (12 months Contract) (Ref. ESL/2024/01/03)
Location: Bhisho
Required Qualification level and field of study: Degree or National Diploma in the field of Safety – Social Science / Criminology/Development Studies or relevant qualification. Unemployed graduates or diplomats in any specified field and between the ages of 18 and 35 years. First – time participants to the Public Services Internship Programme will be given preference.
Position: Human Resources Management X1
Stipend: R5000 per annum (12 months Contract) (Ref. ESL/2024/01/03)
