We invite applications for the following position:

Sports Intern (High School)

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Sports Co-ordinator with extra-mural, fixture and match administration
• Assisting the Sports Co-ordinator in the management of sports days, clinics and tours
• Managing various sports codes
• Coaching of cricket and hockey/rugby
• Getting involved in the daily operations of the High School

Requirements:

• Studying a teaching qualification (Senior and/or FET phase)
• Relevant qualifications and experience in coaching and umpiring cricket and hockey/rugby
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders including pupils, parents, teachers, coaches, sports bodies and other schools
• A passion for sports
• Availability to work on Saturdays
• Have an appreciation of the school’s Christian ethos
• Be computer literate
• Own transport
