PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Provide a service to employees who may have psychological, social or physical challenges. The incumbent will responsible for the implementation of an integrated, sustainable and cost effective Employee Wellbeing program at Ngodwana Mill.
REPORTING TO: REGIONAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS MANAGER
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide an employee wellbeing service at the business unit, within a legal, ethical framework, to ensure a healthy, productive workforce;
- Provide professional advice to line management with regard to employee wellbeing;
- Assist with the development and implementation of employee wellbeing policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal requirements;
- Build and maintain conducive relationships with all stakeholders;
- Ensure accurate and timeous reporting of employee wellbeing issues &
- Control of the operational employee wellbeing budget

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- General Diploma/Degree in social services
- Counselling Skills (Dependency, Bereavement, HCT,Trauma)
- Current Registration with the Council for Social Service Professionals
- Code B Drivers’ License
- Computer literacy (Word & Excel)
- At least 3 years in an industry.
- HIV/AIDS Counselling
- EAP short course
- Current Registration with EAP Society of South Arica
