Eskom thanks and extends appreciation to motorists, customers and stakeholders during the temporary R21 road closures for the replacement of the Apollo-Verwoedburg line and the replacement of the Apollo-Croydon line

 Eskom would like to thank and acknowledge the support of the Gauteng Provincial Government, SANRAL, City of Ekurhuleni, City of Tshwane, motorists, customers, media and stakeholders for their support during the stringing of conductors over the R21 on 9 and 10 September 2024 respectively. The R21 highway is now open for traffic.
Eskom appreciates your restraint, co-operation and patience while this line was being strengthened, for the long-term mutual benefit of all road users and stakeholders.
