Minimum Requirements:

  • Basic Diploma / Degree in General Nursing, Midwifery, Community Nursing, Education, Administration and Primary Health Care
  • Registration with South African Nursing Council
  • Computer Literacy
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Relevant  experience

Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan training activities for all categories of staff
  • Develop and capacitate personnel
  • Student training – to direct, co-ordinate and conduct student training in the practical situation
  • Liaise with different departments and training institutions
  • Promote community participation and social development
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Attending to budget for health education and training in conjunction with the managers
  • Plan, organize and conduct clinic service activities on a small scale in conjunction with the managers
  • Participate in conducting research
