REMUNERATION : Grade 1 : Notch R 420 318.00 pa

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS GR 1
Grade 12 (Senior certificate) Standard 10/or ( Vocational National Certificate)
Degree / Diploma in General Nursing &Midwifery
Current registration with SANC as General Nursing
A minimum of 7 years appropriate/ recognizable nursing experience as a General Nurse of which three year of the above period must be supervisory experience in the HAST unit.
NIMART training
Valid Driver’s License (code EB).
Proof of Computer literacy
Certificate of Service for previous and current work experience endorsed and Stamped by HR Office must be attached confirming both service record and summarising current duties performed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS TRAINING AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Power point presentation and data presentation skills
Financial management skills.
Knowledge of District health system.
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Project management skills.
Ability analyse data to make independent decisions.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
An understanding of the National and Provincial Health priorities.
Ability to prioritize issues and other work related matters and to comply with time frames.
Proven initiative, decisiveness and the ability to acquire new knowledge swiftly.
Computer literacy with a proficiency in MS Office Software applications
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and facilitate planning for the HAST programme in line with the DHP
Co-ordinate and manage HAST programme for the district including trainings.
Support and monitor health institutions within the district on HAST related programmes, ensuring that clinical strategies to manage health conditions contained under the health programme are implemented by all institutions.
Analyse emerging health practises and trends and introduce remedial actions in conjunction with health care specialists.
Translate national and provincial HAST related policies and targets into achievable plans at district level.
Monitor and control budget allocated to HAST programme.
Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders for comprehensive approach of care and ensure Programme integration into Sukuma Sakhe Objectives.
Ensure effective, efficient and economically utilisation of allocated resources.
Participate in District Quarterly reviews and provide monthly and quarterly reports
Participate in activities aimed at fully integrating HAST programmes to the main stream of PHC services.
Facilitate and hold district HAST quarterly meetings.
