Duties and responsibilities:
- Test drive and evaluate all vehicles the dealership principle requests
- Accurately describe all faults and details of vehicles correctly
- Overseeing standards for displaying and merchandising used vehicles.
- Coordinating the appropriate supply of used vehicles.
- must have the ability to control 6 drivers
- must follow up on all vehicles currently in the workshop
- assist with sourcing parts
- responsible for all stock items such as tyres etc
- communication with branch managers on the stock
- Must be able to complete tasks and follow up on tasks handed to his staff to ensure quality and completion
Other requirements:
- Must have a SA ID or valid work permit
- Must have a code 8 or 10
- Minimum one years’ experience in the motor industry
- Test driving all vehicles
- Particular experience in repair, reconditioning and evaluating vehicles.
- Own transport is a must
Working hours are five and half days a week
