Wet Mill Manager (2 Wet Mill Lines) , KZN Midlands, R400 000
Essential: ±10 yrs’ proven exp (saw mill & wet mill).
Essential: Management of 2 log yards, 2 wet mill lines, green chain, stacking + kilns & boilers;
- Good knowledge/Exp of saw milling equipment (especially frame saws, kilns & boilers);
- Wood technology / BSc (Wood Science)
- Production & Processing knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs + other techniques to maximize manufacturing process;
- Determining when & what kind of maintenance needed; Systems Evaluation through identifying measures or indicators of system performance + actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to goals of system;
- Strong Managerial skills essential;
- Good communicator/Organiser/Team player – management of relatively large team;
- Proven exp in high pressure, production environment/s;
- Required to work overtime.
