Mind, Brain and Education: Contemporary ideas on childhood cognitive development have shifted from a domain-generalised understanding to more a domain-specific view, of the way in which children learn and acquire new concepts.
Executive Functioning in Childhood: Much research has been conducted in the 21st century regarding children’s executive functioning and the important role this plays in the acquisition, processing and retention of information for the child to be able to learn and develop optimally in the classroom.
