QUALIFICATIONS

Grade 17 with pass mark (40% and above) in Mathematics and Physical Science or Technical Matric with relevant trade theory

Level Basic Artisan Skills Training

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Diligent. precise and disciplined

Good communication skills

JOB OBJECTIVES

Attend Basic and Advanced Engineering Skills Courses

Assist with basic artisan work during practical exposure phases Operate within a team

Glencore Rustenburg plant has an opportunity for candidates who would like to join the Learnership programme in order to qualify as Artisans in the following disciplines:

Rigging (Ref: 22794)
Instrumentation (Ref: 22798)
Millwright (Ref: 22797)

Qualifications:

Minimum N2 with Grade 12

Skills requirements:

Medically fit
Good knowledge of the HSEC system

Job objectives:

Enter into an Engineering Learnership programme with the MQA SETA
Undergo institutional training with one of the selected training centres
Undergo practical training and exposure at the premises of the company
Undergo an aptitude test or psychometric assessment
