Position Description

This position supports the Sales Distribution staff (intermediaries and support staff) with technical support of Sanlam’s software packages and programs with respect to training as well as resolution of technical problems.

Key Responsibilities

– Support, advise and resolution of client’s technical related problems
– Roll-outs of technology updates and changes
– Promote take up of technology and the use of software solutions
– Installation and upgrading of software
– Training and supporting of Sanlam relevant software
– Client relationship management

Minimum Requirements

Key Responsibilisities:

– Valid Code 08 drivers license

– Must be willing to travel
– Own reliable transport is essential

QUALIFICATIONS:
– Grade 12
-MCSE or A+ (Exam Certificate) or relevant qualification
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
– Windows and operating systems
– Diagnostics and trouble shooting on PC’s
– Loading and configuration of software and programs
– Basic hardware understanding (printers, fax, scanners, ADSL installations, networking etc)
