Hillside Aluminium 2024 Engineering Scholarship Programme

The Hillside Aluminium bursary scheme is offering limited number of tertiary bursaries for 2024 to deserving applicants who reside in the King Cetshwayo District.
Undergraduate Degrees:
If you are currently a Grade 12 learner, or if you have already passed Grade 12 and achieved at least Level 6 in English, Mathematics (Core), and Physical Science, and you would like to study at a recognised university in one of the disciplines listed below, or, if you are presently studying fulltime towards an undergraduate degree in one of the disciplines, this bursary scheme could be just what you are looking for.
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
- Mechanical Engineering
Bachelor of Technology (BTech):
Applications for BTech will also be considered in the disciplines of Chemical, Electrical (H / C) and Mechanical Engineering.
Applications will be assessed on both academic merit and financial need.
Depending on your performance, you may be selected for an assessment programme
Acceptance into the Hillside Aluminium Bursary Scheme is dependent on a successful interview and certificate of fitness. The bursary is renewable on an annual basis dependent on the bursar’s academic performance and conduct.

Completed application forms together with supporting documents must be posted to Hillside Aluminium Bursary Scheme, c/o ADSEC Bursary Fund Administrator, PO Box 21397, Pumula, 4225.
Late applications will not be considered.
Applicants who do not receive a communication from the Bursary Fund Admin by 30 November must please accept that their application was unsuccessful.
