Hostex 2024

Hostex, Africa’s leading hospitality and culinary expo, takes place from 7-9 May 2024 at the Gallagher Convention Centre. This year, the event is said to be bigger and better than ever before, with exciting, new features having been added to the programme. The expo is set to attract over 10 000 visitors within the three day event, and exhibitors includes a diversity of local and international partners.
Attendees can expect a jam-packed line-up of cooking programs by South Africa’s top chefs, culinary displays and exciting competitions for student chefs, chefs-in-the-making and seasoned cooks at the SA Chef’s Association Village. Back by popular is the Global Pizza Challenge, where participants will go head-to-head to create the most delicious, masterful pizzas in this grand cook-off!
New additions to Hostex include a ‘Mixology’ shakeup. This interactive demonstration, which is hosted by ShakesSA, is a lot of fun and is bound to teach you a thing or two about that cocktail you’ve always wanted to make. If you enjoy a freshly-brewed cup of coffee, then don’t miss out on the Speciality Coffee sector, which showcases the skills of talented barristers.
